short version: leaking fuel line, loose sparkplug cap.. luckily i was near my garage (fireextinguisher) got off pretty lucky

Damages so far, following meltede: Ignition coil, "throttle body"(?), cam cover
Engine bay needs respray, hood warped new needed, wings needs respray. wiring loom for right headlight meltede, hight ajustment for right headlight melted
So ill be taking the engine out soon again..
didnt even get to drive 2000 km's
There is loads of work, will take me 2 mds to get it on the road again.. and then it will be getting cold.. (SNOW etc. = no driving)
Back to square one - engine fire
Seems to be pretty fixable I alse have once had a small engine fire. It looked like an inferno but when starting to take off burnt pieces it was not a big deal afterall.
Good that the paintwork on the hood survived the fire.

The paintwork didnt survive.. the hood is bent, it has a BIG dent in the middle... need a new hood, my wings need respray, also the engine bay..
oh man, i get the shivers lookin at those pictures, i had the similar incident few days ago, leaking fuel line...
luckily, the spark cables are fine so there was no fire...
