Hey very nice car man, i've got a 9TL for daily driving (and a 5GTT for restauration).

Only yours is much nicer then mine

Anyway, i got seats from a 21 Turbo in it, build in by the owner before me.
Is almost perfect fit, you have to drill 2 new holes.
The rails of an 19-16v are much wider, so i guess you should weld a frame by yourself to make them fit.

thanks for the reply ,

i have not done much yet ,i want to fit 15 inch ph1 19 16v wheels on it ,tint the windows, lower about 35mm ,color code the door handles (as well as the rest of the car :D ) etc

your car can look much better ,try to clean may be or a start :)

you are absolutely right about the 16v seats ,the base is much wider ,the frame will probably not fit .

welding new frames seems to be the only option but also a lot of work i think
i was also thinking of swapping the seat covers or the whole unit (seat covers and the sponge) . which would be a perfect fit if that works .

have you got the pictures of the r21 turbo seats by any chance ???

Hey, saw your name on Retro-Renault, don't visit that forum very much nowadays. Used to visit Retro-Renault before I came here.

If you'll search this forum a bit, you would also find 'cleaner' pics of Steven's 9 :)

I like the 9 dashboard and stuff. (where the radio is mounted)

Also like the new steering wheel (good thing you ditched the original :D )

I washed him yesterday, but still not perfectly clean :D
And it's my daily driver, so don't wat to spend much money in it, because i could spend it also in my 5GTT. Maybe after the 5 is finished... if i stil own him... ;)

Here a picture lowered by fotoshop and with the steele 19-16v wheels of the early owner.

I got a 5GTT steeringwheel, btw :pompom:
And i will take a pic of the 21T chairs tomorrow.

that picture looks really good (Y)

i would color code that bumpers if i was you

i got 35 mm lowering springs for mine in the garage ,its just a matter of time to fit them to the front struts .

i am still debating about the r19 16v seats,a friend of mine suggested a different way of fitting them today ,will try and see

but at the moment my daily car (19 16v) is playing up ,so i will have to finish the r9 very soon and put her on road while i can fix the r19
