isn't the tacho digital ??
if it is, it can be done but it's isn't very simple . Here in Belgium, there's one who can do it for 150 euro !!

The easiest way is to built in another tachometer. U wanna sell the car? Built in the old one. How much will that cost? I only hope u can find a tachometer somewhere. U can also pull out the plug, the only problem that comes with this, is u cant read anything anymore, but I guess u already figured that...
